Intended use

EHD roof fans are used for air extraction in domestic or commercial areas. Example: Greenhouses, garages, construction containers, master offices, greenhouses, etc.

Operation of the EHD is only permissible:

• with a permanent installation on surfaces with sufficient load-bearing capacity, e.g. on flat, pitched, corrugated or trapezoidal roofs, ceilings or brackets.
• with matching roof socket only on suitable substructure; without roof socket directly on an air extraction duct.
• with installation positions up to a max. inclination of 90°.
• with permanent electrical installation.
• with free inlet with protection against accidental contact in accordance with EN ISO 13857, for example with SGR protective grille.

When connecting to ducts, folded spiral-seams ducts with flexible couplings are prescribed. These prevent the transmission of vibrations to the duct system.
